Luxurious Venetian style hand printed fabric, Lyons textile design from the fifth decade of the eighteenth century. It is often interpreted with whimsical nonchalance, the “chinoiserie” design is an exquisite rococò expression, that is always in search of a “gracious, elegant, carefree style where any genre is acceptable except for those that are boring Pattern repeat 53cm. Width 140cm. Price is per meter. The raw material is fine Egyptian “mako” cotton, specially woven in Italy and then hand printed. The soft nuances of its delicate natural shades are highlighted by the iridescence of gold, silver, mother of pearl, copper, verdigris and the cold sheen of steel.
